On it's own? It makes a thick and flavorful yogurt - thick for an un-strained yogurt, mild and subtly tart, with a character of it's own, clean and balanced. Combine with other of our strains if you feel like experimenting and finding your favorite blend. Look for our Coagulans/Plantarum/Reuteri blend for a well-balanced and diverse probiotic delivery in a delicious yogurt.

Lactobacillus reuteri LR08 has demonstrated strain-specific benefits in gut and vaginal health, supported by preclinical and clinical studies.

• Gut health: Enhances intestinal barrier function, modulates microbiota composition, and supports immune responses
• Vaginal health: Demonstrates strong adhesion to vaginal epithelial cells and antibacterial activity, reducing inflammation and improving vaginal microbiota balance 
• Immune modulation: Increases IgA production, which is critical for mucosal immunity

Packet offerings contain 50 billion CFU, while jars in bulk gram amounts are ideal for economy and dosing or usage of your choice. 

• 1/64 tsp = 30mg = ~5B CFU (easily enough for a qt to 1/2 gal yogurt make)
• 1/32 tsp = ~10B CFU (cultures 1-2 gals of milk)
• rounded 1/16 tsp = 50B 
• slightly rounded 1/8 tsp = 100B
• Microscooping can deliver as low as 5-15mg if desired (we may be making these available soon)
